Hockey Pool '05-06

At work they've started a hockey pool and I'm tossing my $20 and puck brains into the ring to see if I can win big.  Below are my picks, the pool starts at the end of October.

Forwards:

Ryan Smyth
Brendan Morrison
Markus Naslund

Ilya Kovalchuk
Shane Doan

Defencemen:

Is this an online pool or at work or something? we have one going at onlinepools.comAll I might suggest is your list is a little dated--only by like 2 years. You need to get the new breed in there: Spezza, Heatly, Torres, Lupul, even Sid Crosby. Rmyth is injured, Kovalchuk is holding out. Dump Morrison for Spezza and Rechi for Henrik Zetterberg or Pavol Datsuyk or something. New blood kelly! New blood!

Kovalchuk is back. Smyth's injury should only be temporary.
